Ultrahuman, the Indian fitness-oriented technology start-up, has announced the Ultrahuman Ring, a wearable smart ring that will provide metabolic information such as temperature and heart rate and will be able to analyze user stress levels, the activity density and sleep quality. Designed to work with Ultrahuman’s other portable device, the glucose control service called “Cyborg,” the pairing would create a deep level of knowledge of the user’s body responses that could be affecting stress and sleep quality.
However, the Ultrahuman Ring will continue to function individually and will not depend entirely on mating with the Cyborg. That said, the start-up believes that the user will get the most benefits when the features of the products are combined. And as the portable space is filled with competitive products, both from a fashion and technology standpoint, the Ultrahuman Ring seeks to market itself to those looking for analytics and knowledge about its metabolism and what factors might be affecting him.
