The Bureau of Standards of India, also known as BIS, certifies all the smartphones that will be offered in the country, and the last two that appear as official certificates for BIS come from Samsung. However, none of them have been made official anywhere else so far.
We are talking about the Galaxy A23 5G and the Galaxy A04s. Both will be sold in India once presented. The Galaxy A23 5G should not be confused with the Galaxy A23, which is only 4G and is already official in some markets.
The Samsung Galaxy A04s previously leaked renders
The Galaxy A23 5G, which along with India is also set to launch in Europe, was recently seen in a benchmark database with the Snapdragon 695 chipset on board, a slight upgrade to the Snapdragon 680 found in the model 4G. The prototype that was tested had 4GB of RAM, but there should be more options after launch. It launches Android 12, not surprisingly.
The Galaxy A04, on the other hand, appeared in the same reference database with an Exynos 850 SoC, as seen on the Galaxy A13 and M13. It also works with Android 12 and one version has 3GB of RAM. Earlier rumors said that the Galaxy A04s would have a 6.5 “HD + 60 Hz LCD screen and a 5,000 mAh battery.
