Several Skate 4 videos have been leaked online, showing more of the game in action. The leaks come from a recent closed game test of the game and offer an overview of the Skate 4 map, customization features, and some of the game’s microtransactions that are being tested.
Although some videos were briefly on YouTube, they were withdrawn and players began hosting them on Reddit (via Eurogamer). The footage shows a massive multiplayer space that can be explored, while other footage shows a skate park that has been modified with elements of a construction package. Personalization also seems to be an important part of the game, as players can decorate their skater with a variety of equipment, take photos and share them with the Skate community.

This relates to a previous report of a collaborative “free skating” mode where players can skateparks from the core and in real time, with the mode placing more emphasis on user-generated content when publishes, according to Jeff of Giant Bomb. Grubb in April.
Skate 4 is currently being developed by Full Circle, an EA studio that includes veterans of the original Skate trilogy and is led by former Xbox Live CEO Daniel McCulloch. For a more official view of the game, you can check out the pre-pre-pre-alpha Skate 4 game footage that was released last month.
If you want to play the game and comply with a non-disclosure agreement while commenting on Full Circle, you can register on the Skate Insider site. Currently, testing is only available on PC, but will be expanded to other platforms in the future.
