To what extent can it go down?
President Biden’s approval rating has dropped to 30%, his lowest rating to date, in a new national poll.
Civiqs Poll’s daily follow-up poll of registered voters found that less than a third of Americans gave their thumbs up to Biden’s performance at work, and a whopping 57% disapproved of it.
“Joe Biden’s presidency is sinking from the ship’s thousand holes,” GOP consultant Ryan Girdusky said.
The poll, released Friday, found Biden underwater with voters of all age groups, all levels of education and both genders. Each of these groups showed approval rates below 40%, with the youngest voters, aged 18-34, among the most dissatisfied with an unfortunate 21%.
In just two states of 50, deep blue Hawaii and Vermont, Biden supporters outnumber their detractors.
Democrats and black voters are the two groups that are still in the president’s corner, according to the poll, and not much.

Only 56% of African Americans, the Democrats ’most loyal voting bloc, indicated their approval, and Democrats overall reached 64%, a new low.
Even more irritating, Biden’s overall 30% approval was well below the 39% Civiqs recorded in 2017 as President Donald Trump’s lowest number, and not even within 44% d ‘approval that Trump got at the very time of his presidency. .
The poll came at the end of a sad week for Biden, as the specter of the recession approached, gas prices remained close to record highs, parents continued to fight for the infant formula and a mass shooting on July 4 sparked the debate over gun control.
His administration fired on all sides because it failed to get smallpox vaccine supplies and admitted that Border Patrol agents did not whip the migrants, as Biden had claimed.
After weeks of brutal criticism from left-wing Democrats for their flabby response to the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade, Biden tried to ease construction pressure within his party on Friday by signing an executive order aimed at helping women seeking abortion.

Pouring the decision as “an exercise in raw political power” and a “giant step back,” Biden tried to show a firm and furious decision.
But he spoiled his performance on the podium, provoking widespread ridicule by an apparent “Ron Burgundy moment” when he said a bit of stage direction: “Repeat the line” – while reading a speech directly from a teleprompter, just like than the famous Will Ferrell. character.
“Whoever controls the teleprompter is the real president!” tweeted Tesla billionaire Elon Musk.

The average of RealClear Politics polls, which compiles the results of multiple polls, sets Biden’s approval rating at 38%, but is also at an all-time low for the president.
Democratic consultant Chris Coffey, CEO of Tusk Strategies, said the party has no reason to despair.
“Bill Clinton was in his 30s before he was easily re-elected,” Coffey noted. “Daily polls mean less than having conviction and doing what you think is right and letting the American people see and hear it.”
But Girdusky only predicted problems for Democrats in the upcoming midterm elections.
“Unlike Trump, who was often seen as his worst enemy, Biden looks flawless and seated while the country burns,” Girdusky said. “Democrats have nothing else to take advantage of for the middle parties except the abortion decision … but it won’t be enough.”
