Christos Kyrgios has written an emotional tribute to his brother, Nick, on the eve of his inaugural Grand Slam final, bursting into tears when he revealed why the couple recently broke up.
For much of the last six or seven years, I lost my little brother. That child I grew up with, who was so carefree and attractive, had almost disappeared.

The world changed him. Tennis changed him. He was distracted; always worried about something. Even when you were with him, he was not present at that time.
He was a prisoner of his own body, going through the movements with no sense of happiness in life that he had worked so hard to make.
Anyone you know in Nick will tell you that you have to make the mistake in order to learn. He has to touch the hot stove, even though his mom and dad tell him not to, so he understands why someone would tell him to do something in the first place.
It wasn’t until he was able to figure out what he was looking for in his heart that he was able to relate to what everyone around him was trying to do.
