India’s leading smartphone maker Xiaomi unveiled the Smart Standing Fan 2 series in India on Monday (July 11th).
The new smart fan includes a silent BLDC copper wire motor and two fan blades. The latter is said to be optimized to offer a softer natural breeze.
The smart fan has an ultra wide angle, a 140 degree horizontal rotation and a 39 degree vertical rotation. This design will allow the fan to drive fresh wind up to a maximum range of 14 meters.
The 7 + 5 wing-shaped leaves rotate simultaneously and this increases airflow for more powerful cooling. Please note that the maximum noise from the fan will not exceed 58 decibels.

Like Ikea’s DIY (Do It Yourself) furniture, Xiaomi’s new 3kg smart fan has a minimalist design and includes an easy 6-step assembly process. Users can adjust the height. It can be used as a floor or table fan as needed.
In addition, users can control the fan and switch between natural breeze and direct hit with voice commands via smart speakers with Alexa or Google Assistant.
