Police are responding to reports of gunmen in downtown Toronto.
In a tweet, Toronto police said they received a call about a stabbing in the area of Spadina Avenue and Oxley Street near Adelaide Street West at 8:18 p.m. Monday.
Police said there were reports of a “number of people fighting” and that weapons were being used. A woman would have stabbed a man.

Toronto paramedics told Global News that they had transported a patient in serious condition but not life-threatening.
In an update Monday evening, police said they had located a victim with minor injuries.
