WA Health reports a total of 6,458 new cases at 6 p.m. last night. There are currently 35,138 active cases in Western Australia.
At 6pm last night, there were 333 people with COVID-19 in the hospital, 16 in the ICU.
Unfortunately, today’s report includes eight deaths, dating back to June 10, 2022, that were reported yesterday to WA Health: a man in his 90s; two men and a woman in their 80s; a man and a woman in their 70s; and two men in their 60s.

- These data are based on the residential zip code of each case. The case may have an isolation address in another region.
- The remaining reported daily cases (134) do not yet have an assigned region. The data will continue to be reconfigured as this information is verified.
Of the 6,458 cases, 2,415 were confirmed by the PCR test, the remaining 4,043 were rapid self-reported positive antigen tests.
A total of 8,003 PCR tests were performed yesterday at public or private pathology clinics.
WA has reported 987,112 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
