Yazmin Oukhellou has broken her silence on the horrific car accident in Turkey that tragically killed her boyfriend Jake McLean.
The 28-year-old TOWIE star suffered serious arm injuries in the crash, which took place in the early hours of Sunday, July 3rd.
And now Yazmin has revealed that she deliberately broke her trapped arm to escape the crash and hurried to seek help while Jake was unconscious in the Mercedes.

In an interview with The Sun, Yazmin said, “I didn’t want to admit to myself that I could be dead.
“So I thought, ‘Right, I can stand still and die bleeding, or bang my own arm to try to save us, I had no choice.’
At that moment, Yazmin did not realize that she had opened an artery, but revealed that she was covered in blood as she was lying face down in the car.
He added, “Somehow I broke my arm through pure adrenaline and panic, got out of the car and was a bit holding my arm with my left hand.”

Yazmin said she convinced herself that Jake was still alive as she ran to the top of the bench they have rolled down and called for help.
Luckily, a man walking her dog found her instantly and rushed to the car to help him, but sadly it was too late because Yazmin said she couldn’t feel Jake’s pulse.
Yazmin said the pain and shock have made him need therapy and that he has not left his mother Lisa’s side since the accident.
The reality star also confirmed that the couple was currently out, but she flew to Turkey in the hope that they could reconcile and recalled how the trip made things “perfect” between them.

The TV character had been on holiday with Jake at the Bodrum resort where the terrifying incident took place.
Jake and Yazmin were driving in a blue Mercedes E-Class sedan on a windy, mountainous road between the coastal city of Bodrum and the coastal city of Yalikavak when they returned overnight.
The crash took place around 4:30 a.m. and investigators have established that the car crashed about 70 feet down a left turn and landed in a ravine almost 30 feet below.

Jake was pronounced dead at the scene while Yazmin was rushed to hospital, where she received treatment for her injured arm.
After the accident, he climbed through thick, thorny bushes to stop a motorcyclist passing by for help.
A source told MailOnline last week that Yazmin has been left with a broken heart: “Yaz can’t feel any sense of relief because his heart has been broken in two by Jake’s death.
“He still can’t accept what happened.”

The allegations were made by his mother, Anita Walsh, who expressed concern to prosecutors investigating the accident that killed her son in Bodrum, Turkey.
Anita told prosecutors that Jake would not have lost control of the car when he flew off a bend in a mountain road due to his driving experience.
A deputy prosecutor who cannot be appointed under Turkish law told MailOnline on July 6: “We spoke to Jake’s mother and she told us something was going on in the car that distracted him.”
“She doesn’t think this accident was caused by her bad driving. She said she’s a very skilled and experienced driver and she wouldn’t have lost control of the car that way.”
Prosecutors are investigating whether Jake was driving drunk. The couple argued outside a club at 3 a.m. shortly before Sunday’s crash.

Jake and Yazmin are believed to have met in May last year before she revealed their relationship on Instagram in December in a clip showing the couple kissing.
But she broke up with him only a month later after he was reportedly caught “acting single” while on holiday in Dubai and leaving a solo club with former Love Island Ellie Jones.
It was still thought the couple were separated when the crash occurred on Sunday. Friends say they are not sure what the couple were doing together in Turkey, but perhaps they had been there to sign some kind of trade deal.
A source told MailOnline: “It’s a total tragedy and a total loss of life. Everyone is in shock and waiting for Yazmin to fully recover.
