Ivana Trump died Thursday after a fall that caused severe injuries to her torso, the New York City chief forensic doctor’s office said Friday.
A spokesman for the coroner’s office said the fall was considered accidental.
“Once that determination is made, OCME will not comment further on the investigation,” the coroner’s office said.

A spokesman for the New York City police department told Fox News Thursday that Ivana Trump was found unconscious “near” the bottom of a staircase in her apartment.
The New York City Fire Department responded to a report of a cardiac arrest at Trump’s residence Thursday afternoon, a source told Fox News.

A police source told Fox News that someone at Trump’s residence called police to ask for a welfare check because he hadn’t seen her in a long time. When authorities arrived, they opened their door and found her at the foot of the stairs.
