Ivana Trump’s death was declared accidental by the medical examiner

Trump, a longtime businessman, died Thursday at his home in New York City at age 73. She was the mother of Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric Trump.

The New York police department said Thursday that “there did not appear to be any crime” related to his death. According to a statement, police received a call on 911 about an “assisted individual” around 12:40 pm ET and found a “73-year-old woman unconscious and unanswered.”

The New York Fire Department said it responded to a report of a person suffering a cardiac arrest at the residence, with the time and place of that response coinciding with the location of the NYPD associated with Trump. Firefighters said the victim was dead on arrival.

The EMS, police said, declared Trump’s death at the scene.

Raised in communist Czechoslovakia, Ivana Trump partnered with Donald Trump on some of her most prominent real estate projects. The two divorced in 1992 as a result of their sensationalist affair with Marla Maples, who later became the second wife of Donald Trump and mother of their daughter, Tiffany.

After the divorce, Ivana Trump married and divorced twice more, maintaining a jet-set and globetrotting lifestyle.

Her children on Thursday paid tribute to her business acumen, humor and passion.

Ivanka Trump tweeted that she was “heartbroken by the passing of (her) mother,” and added, “She lived life to the fullest, never giving up the opportunity to laugh and dance. I will miss her forever and keep long live his memory in our hearts. “
