Fine driver with ice on windshield after collision with a fire truck

A 29-year-old man has been fined after driving on ice on the windshield early in the morning and crashing into a fire truck.

ACT police said the fire truck was stopped at the time, with red and blue emergency lights and amber hazard lights in operation.

No emergency services team was injured in the collision.

The white Hyundai Accent driver was fined $ 398 for negligent driving and $ 205 for driving his motor vehicle without clear vision.
