SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) – The San Francisco International Airport international terminal has reopened after a bomb threat sparked evacuations Friday night, according to officials.
Police have cleaned the international terminal. SFO resumes normal operations. AirTrain has restarted. BART SFO departures will resume at 6:25 p.m. Reopened check-in desks. Security control was resumed. Check your flight information with your airline. Please be patient. Allow extra time!

According to police, thousands of passengers were evacuated from the international terminal of San Francisco International Airport on Friday night due to a bomb threat.
SFPD officials say officers received the report around 8:15 p.m. Friday and when they arrived at the scene they found a suspicious package.
Officers considered the object to be “possibly incendiary” and as a precaution evacuated the international terminal.
Police say officers arrested a man in connection with the incident and are investigating.
We are already seeing an impact of this evacuation on international departures, according to the SFO website, several flights have been delayed. However, SFO tweeted that travelers should check with their airlines for specific flight information.

SFPD says it is not yet known when the terminal will reopen.
SFO BART station is also closed at this time and AirTrain services have been suspended.
BART officials say Samtrans bus services are available between Millbrae and SFO in both directions and BART tickets will be accepted as fares.
SPO officials say people can still pick up and drop off passengers at national terminals.
Several travelers used Twitter to show the extent of the evacuation where thousands of people could be seen standing on the sidewalk and on the street outside the international terminal.
