Last Conservative Leadership Race: Rishi Sunak leads last poll after pledging to maximize Brexit

Ishi Sunak has led a recent poll, as the former chancellor vowed to “make Brexit sing” on Saturday.

In a 4,500-person survey conducted by JL Partners, Sunak had the highest net “good PM” rating at 76% of the seats won by the Conservatives in 2019.

As for 2019 Conservative voters, Sunak has the highest net positive rating at +28. Among all voters, Sunak has a net neutral rating that leads its rivals.

This comes when the former chancellor, who voted in favor of leaving in 2016, said there was more to be done to maximize the UK’s exit from the EU. Writing for The Sun, he said: “We have done Brexit, now I will make Brexit sing.”

A second debate will be presented by ITV at 7pm on Sunday before the third televised debate on Tuesday.

Conservative leadership candidate Tom Tugendhat said he is committed to complying with Brexit and finding a solution to the Northern Ireland Protocol.
