Yesterday we received a few leaks for the recently announced remake of The Last of Us Part 1 from Naughty Dog, which will hit PlayStation 5 and finally PC. Now, however, the floodgates have really opened up.
Today, the Internet is full of all sorts of new information about the game, including details about its accessibility options and control layout.
If you want to avoid spoilers, some will be included in the following text; so take this as an indication to read something more in Eurogamer if you so wish.

The latest leaks from The Last of Us come from XboxEra co-founder Nick Baker, who has acquired numerous photos and snippets of The Last of Us Part 1 and has been sharing them with the world all night.
Now let’s take a good look at the layout of the game controller, which includes all the expected options for things like melee, goal, sprint, climbing, and more. Baker said the target of the gyroscope will be supported.
In addition to that, Baker also shared a full list of accessibility features (which include a look at the game menu) that will be available.
There are plenty of options to look forward to, especially after The Last of Us Part 2’s incredible feature catalog. According to Baker’s source, you’ll be able to adjust the game’s field of view and camera shake to cater to those who they suffer from motion sickness. There’s also a color-coded mode, a screen magnifier, and customizable controls.
As with Part 2, there is also the option to skip puzzles and fight audio signals.
Baker also detailed the rendering modes that will be available. Fidelity mode “favors resolution above frame rate,” rendered at 4K and targeting 40 fps. Meanwhile, the performance mode is set to 60 fps and has a dynamic resolution.
Some new images and screenshots were also shared.
A clip gave us a look at the workbenches of The Last of Us Part 1, with Joel showing up improving his weapons. Compared to previous segments of the workbench, this has more details (which is to be expected).
The other clips showed Joel and Ellie in combat, with ranged and melee attacks and the use of throwing bottles all over the room to create a distraction.
Baker stated that the footage “apparently isn’t captured in HDR. A little better, but still with a faded touch, so I think it’s a capture problem.”
Naughty Dog has been unlucky enough to have had several high profile leaks for their games. The revelation of The Last of Us Part 1 leaked a few hours before it was officially unveiled.
Meanwhile, the elements of the plot of The Last of Us Part 2 found their way online before its release, which provoked a great reaction from the gaming community.
