One man remains missing and another is recovering after two separate ocean emergencies off the coast of Western Australia.
The rescued man was a Chinese national who survived 14 hours in the ocean off the coast of Geraldton.
He was discovered in the water 24 kilometers from the bulk carrier he had been working on.
The man, aged around 30, was taken to hospital.

“Fortunately this morning he was located by an aircraft involved in the search and picked up by the Voluntary Sea Rescue,” Acting WA Police Superintendent Jon Munday said.
The second emergency involved a man who went missing in Green Head, north of Perth, on Sunday afternoon.
Ian Gray, 46, was on a solo trip in his four-metre boat but did not return.
Gray’s family raised the alarm at around 6pm on Sunday, sparking a search.
“The family, I understand, is extremely concerned. As you can imagine, they just want answers and that’s what we want to do,” Munday said.
The Mitsubishi Triton and the skipper’s boat trailer were located.
9News understands Gray had been visiting family in the quiet seaside town.
While the missing man was found in one of the emergencies, the second in an unrelated incident remained missing. (new)
Salvament Marí, the Department of Fisheries and AMSA have carried out exhaustive searches by land and sea.
SES crews have traveled the beach from Sandy Cape to Leeman.
“The weather is not favorable for searching down there, there’s a big swell running in, so we have to consider the safety of the searchers as well,” Munday said.
“Every minute that passes we worry because he is alone.”
