Melbourne Storm are set to sign Tigers flyer David Nofoaluma for the rest of the 2022 season, ending their desperate search for an outside recruit.
Having been heavily linked with Warriors fullback Reece Walsh, as well as contacting the Titans over the availability of Jayden Campbell, the Storm are finally ready to land their man.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Nofoaluma is preparing to make the switch down south, hoping to revive his season after a turbulent year.

The 175-year-old spent time sidelined with concussion before being dropped from the first-grade squad for drinking while recovering from injury.
The move could also see the 28-year-old make a late-career appearance after making his debut in 2013.
Nofoaluma’s final appearance for the Tigers was in the club’s Round 17 loss to the Eels, scoring two tries.
Craig Bellamy’s side made a number of inquiries to rival clubs, hoping to fill the void left by injuries to key full-backs including Ryan Papenhuyzen, Reimis Smith, George Jennings and Xavier Coates.
Along with Campbell and Walsh, the Storm have been linked with a number of Tigers players including Daine Laurie, Adam Doueihi and Ken Maumalo, while approaching the Bulldogs and Panthers for Josh Addo-Carr and Robert Jennings.

Nofoaluma is expected to join up with his new teammates this week and is tipped to feature in his new colors for the club’s Round 21 clash against the Titans.
He also holds the record for most tries ever scored for the Tigers, with the club signing him to a deal worth $500,000 a season.
The merging club will save about $100,000 by dropping his contract.
