Nicola Charles has sensationally claimed she was not invited to appear in the final episode of Neighbors because of her stance on Covid-19.

The 52-year-old actress told the Daily Telegraph on Friday that she believes her vaccine status is behind her choice not to go back.

“I’ve been written off because I’m not vaccinated,” she told the post, adding that she’s been “universally written off for speaking her truth” about Covid and vaccines.

Nicola rose to fame after debuting as Karl Kennedy’s sassy lover Sarah Beaumont on Neighbors in 1995.

He maintained a recurring role until 1999, and returned twice from 2012 to 2013, and then again in 2016.

On Friday, the star said she wasn’t impressed with how the final episode played out.

“In the end I was relieved that Sarah Beaumont had not been part of the fallout that was delivered as the final episode of Neighbours,” he told The Daily Telegraph.

In 2020, Nicola opened up about her battle with the coronavirus in a candid interview.

On Friday, the star said she wasn’t impressed with how the final episode played out. “In the end I was relieved that Sarah Beaumont had not been part of the fallout that was delivered as the final episode of Neighbours,” she told the Daily Telegraph.

At the time, the actress-turned-author said she’s “still not over” COVID-19 and that it “knocked her down” for more than six weeks in March 2020.

Describing his experience at Studio 10, he said: “I felt a very strange fluttering in my veins.

“I consider myself quite spiritual and I had this overwhelming feeling that what was inside me was not human.”

Fitness fanatic Nicola, who used to run 26km a week, added: “I’m still not over it. When it hits you, it’s harder than anything else that’s happened.”

She also shared a photo of her self-described “zombie eye” on Instagram, explaining that one of the symptoms is that her eye turned “totally red and zombie.”
