Cosce’s Hammerfist, doesn’t land much. He lands an elbow, goes for the back as Mathetha stands. Awkward suplex almost ends him on the bottom. Grind back to the fence. Mathetha tries a header on the break. Nice headbutt on the bell. 10-9 Seam.
Round 2: Mathethe goes back to the kicks, lands a solid left hand. Cosce ties up, avoids a pitch, is taken to the fence. Jockeying for position. A minute later. Cosce’s shoulder kick. Elbow attempt. Two minutes later. Cosce tries to change levels. Separation Mathetha low kick. Body kick in combination. Two minutes left.
Seam left hook, Mathetha head kick. Mathetha with an elbow. Cosce looks tired, is broken by a spinning back fist as he lands his own. Get tied up. One minute left. Cosce completely gassed, another elbow is eaten. He changes level. Mathetha tries to land elbows while defending. He slips throwing a knee, lands a finishing blow. 10-9 Math.
Round 3: Mathetha landing low kicks. Left counter hook. He shoots a knee, gets dragged into the fence. A minute later. A lovely side drop puts Cosce on top in side control. half guard Mathetha drops to her knees and steps forward. Cosce tries to get up, grabs his back and goes for the RNC two minutes later. Arm triangle transition, he loses it. Full assembly with two minutes to go.
Cosce tries to get the arm triangle again, to no avail. Now on the other side. elbows Mathetha tries to sit down, gives up on north-south. Get your back with a minute to go. Now looking to lower GnP. half guard 10-9 Seam.
