A portion of Highway 754 is expected to be closed for “some time” while RCMP investigate a sudden death, according to police.
The incident happened in the Wabasca First Nation, northeast of Slave Lake.
“The RCMP collision reconstructionist will be assisting and this portion of the highway is expected to be impassable for some time,” Desmarais RCMP said in a news release.
Police have not said if the death is being treated as suspicious at this time and are asking people to avoid the area.
