Lucy Bronze has already set her sights on next year’s World Cup glory, just a day after the Lionesses triumphed 2-1 in the Euro 2022 final against Germany.
As England’s heroes serenaded fans in Trafalgar Square on Monday to celebrate the nation’s first major tournament success since 1966, Bronze insisted there was “still one more trophy” he wanted to add to his rich portfolio of honors
The 30-year-old right-back has already won numerous accolades during her illustrious career, most notably being named FIFA Women’s Player of the Year 2020, but has admitted that her feat at Euro 2022 is the most special by the way.

“I’m on top of the world, on top of Europe,” he told the thousands of supporters who gathered in Trafalgar Square.
“Another trophy, but the best by far, but there’s still one more we can get next year.”
The warning call to England’s World Cup rivals prompted a jubilant cheer from the crowd and a fervent fist bump from former Lioness and interviewer Alex Scott.

England set their sights on the 2023 World Cup after their Euro 2022 triumph
The next Women’s World Cup will be held in Australia and New Zealand in July and August 2023, and Sarina Wiegman’s Stars will rightly enter the tournament as one of the favourites.
Bronze was part of the Lionesses team that finished third at the 2015 World Cup in Canada and has since become the first English footballer to win the UEFA Women’s Player of the Year award in 2018-19.
The full-back will embark on a new chapter next season after his move to Barcelona this summer. The dominant title-winning Spanish team won all 30 games in the last season of the Women’s League.
Captain Leah Williamson and manager Sarina Wiegman also spoke to the crowd of 7,000.
Many of the Lionesses wore dark sunglasses to the event, after MailOnline revealed they were dancing and singing at their hotel until 4am last night.
But they certainly didn’t lack energy after being rejected by the 7,000 spectators, who were eager to celebrate with them in the capital this afternoon.
Captain Leah Williamson, who became the first England footballer to lift a major trophy since Bobby Moore in 56 years, lifted the Euro 2022 award and said: “We’ve partied more than we’ve played to football in the last 24 hours”.

She added: “What we have done for young women and girls who can look up to and inspire to be us.
“I think England have hosted an incredible tournament and we’ve changed the game in this country and hopefully in Europe and around the world.
“But we said we wanted to leave our legacy on winning and that’s what we did.”
