A Lower Mainland man was seriously injured Tuesday in what crews in Kelowna are calling a targeted shooting.
It was around 10pm when an unidentified associate brought a man with an apparent gunshot wound to Kelowna General Hospital.

The RCMP said he is “not expected to survive his injuries.”
Investigators have confirmed the shooting happened at a gas station located in the 1800 block of KLO Road in Kelowna. They claim that the shooting is “linked to people known to the police”, although the reason is currently unknown.

“Incidents of this nature are troubling to say the least, we believe this was a specific incident,” said Insp. said Beth McAndie.
