MSI has announced its first QD-OLED gaming monitor, the MSI MEG 342C ultra-wide 34-inch. MSI’s new monitor incorporates the first widescreen QD-OLED gaming monitor on the market, Alienware’s hugely successful 34 QD-OLED, which sold out immediately after launch.
Until Alienware was released, OLED screens were not available in the gaming world. QD-OLED screens, as the name implies, make use of Quantum Dot technology to improve brightness and color accuracy, providing users with the best in gaming visuals. The MSI MEG 342C is the second gaming screen to use this technology.

Although MSI has published very little about the MSI MEG 342C, it is believed to make use of the same 34-inch ultra-wide panel as Alienware, which would mean a resolution of 3440 × 1440, a refresh rate of 175 Hz and a curvature of 1800R.
As part of MSI’s MEG monitor range, the 342C benefits from features such as Sound Tune AI noise cancellation, a KVM switch (keyboard, video and mouse) that allows you to control multiple devices with the same peripherals, period smart sight and ambient light sensor. .
The price and availability of the new monitor have not yet been revealed.
