This week, on the last day of Asian and Pacific Heritage Month, Joe Biden invited K-pop band BTS to speak at the White House on anti-Asian hate crime and inclusion issues. and Asian diversity. And Tucker Carlson decided this would be a good thing to make fun of.

Leaving aside the fact that Carlson seems genuinely incapable of believing that this appearance could have been about the rise in anti-Asian hate crimes in the US and not the low numbers of Biden votes, and also leaving aside the fact that the immense popularity of BTS brought. a quarter of a million viewers to watch the White House live on YouTube; apart from all this, Carlson clearly has no idea what he is up to when he scares the wrath of the BTS army.
BTS hive and K-pop in general have repeatedly demonstrated their power in the past. They are especially adept at hijacking racist and right-wing hashtags with memes and fan cameras, from the “Million Mage March” to Marjorie Taylor Greene’s attempts to set #ImpeachBiden on trend. They also flooded the ticket applications for a Trump rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, which resulted in an embarrassingly low turnout, and advanced and shut down racist police applications at the height of the protests in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 2020 Black Lives Matter.
In short, don’t come for the BTS army. They are massive and organized and will destroy you.
