Kayvon Thibodeaux in the practice room getting a knee checked

USA TODAY Sports

Giants edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux was injured with 11:16 left before halftime Sunday night. Bengals tight end Thaddeus Moss made a low block, hitting the lower legs of Thibodeaux while he was in the open field on a running play.

Thibodeaux immediately grabbed his right knee.

The cart left to take him to the training room, but the fifth overall pick did. He limped out and headed straight for the blue medical tent.

After a short layover, Thibodeaux was walking on the team’s sideline and talking with his teammates before heading to the practice room to receive medical attention.

The Giants ruled him out for the rest of the night.

He made an entry.

The team also announced that receiver CJ Board will not return with a rib injury, and kicker Graham Gano is being evaluated for a concussion.
