A person has been arrested and detained after climbing onto the roof of Perth station sparking a desperate search and delaying the routes of four major train lines.
At around 7pm on Tuesday, trains on the Armadale, Fremantle, Midland and Thornlie lines were delayed until 8.15pm after a person, understood to be a juvenile, climbed onto the roof of the station.
Police and Perth Transport Authority confirmed they were arrested and detained.
At this stage the identity of the person is unknown.
Train services have resumed as normal.

Perth Transport Authority said power to the station had been switched off but had now been switched back on.
Authorities worked to bring trains to downtown stations and buses were used to transport passengers whenever possible.
Police advised drivers to avoid the area.
