A three-year-old boy has died overnight after an alleged crash in Melbourne.
Police are investigating after the boy was fatally wounded on McIntyre Road, Sunshine North, around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Emergency services said the boy had been hit by a red sedan.

Police said the driver of the vehicle “did not provide assistance and left the scene.”
The sedan was last seen traveling north on McIntyre Road.
Investigators are asking the driver to approach and call the police.
