Emma Raducanu will start an action-packed day at the French Open as the second round begins at Roland Garros on Wednesday. Raducanu came out of a set to defeat the highly valued Linda Noskova on Monday and get her first victory in the main draw of the French Open and the US Open champion will now face Aliaksandra Sasnovich first in the Suzanne Lenglen track.

Cameron Norrie will also be looking to continue his candidacy for the French Open against qualified Jason Kubler, following his victory in Lyon last weekend. The men’s draw is dominated by Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz, however, who have been grouped in the same quarter and are all in action today.

Nadal will highlight Philippe Chatrier’s nightly session as he faces Frenchman Corentin Moutet, who eliminated former French Open champion Stan Wawrinka to reach the second round. Djokovic continues his Grand Slam return against Alex Molcan while Alcaraz faces compatriot Albert Ramos-Vinolas in an all-Spanish competition.

Angelique Kerber, Coco Gauff, Maria Sakkari and Bianca Andreescu are also in action, with the bottom half of the women’s squad now wide open after the elimination of second seed Ons Jabuer on Sunday.
