Liverpool are furious at the constant allusion to false claims promoted by the French government and have vowed to show the mistreatment of their fans in the Champions League final.

Liverpool CEO Billy Hogan has contacted Florentino Perez, his Real Madrid counterpart, to compare stories of what happened to fans outside the Stade de France before and after Saturday’s game.

Video footage of fans crushed and assaulted by local youths has surfaced, with eyewitnesses saying the gangs were around 1,000. However, French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin continues to say that Liverpool fans were responsible for the disorder that broke out.

Amelie Oudea-Castera and Darmanin once again blamed Liverpool fans for the chaos of the Champions League final.

French police fired tear gas and pepper spray at Liverpool fans outside the stadium

They said there were 40,000 counterfeit banknotes in circulation, although official figures show that only 2,589 were scanned.

The chaos outside the Stade de France saw fans with tickets having to wait in line.

French President Emmanuel Macron is said to be furious in private with Darmanin’s response

An unbelieving Hogan said, “As I said earlier this week, it’s just out of disbelief. People probably know that yesterday’s Senate committee meeting was three hours long, so we still have a little bit left. to unpack everything.

“But in general, considering the set of evidence through videos, photographs, personal experiences, and this is not just from Liverpool fans but from all the fans who attended the match; media; English politicians; people who traveled from literally every corner of the globe to attend this party, which people have now seen on social media and other media channels – it’s just total disbelief.

Hogan added that there were a large number of fans without tickets, adding: we just keep asking for an open mind and a transparent investigation of the details.

“I said earlier this week that people are talking about details that have not been shared.

“We haven’t had a chance to have this investigation open. And I don’t think it’s appropriate for people to make accusations until we have all the facts.”

Hogan says they are “incredulous and wants an open and transparent investigation”
