Major roads, including DVP on Sunday, will close this weekend for special events

Some major roads will be closed to traffic in Toronto this weekend due to special events, the city says.

Don Valley Parkway will be closed to traffic from York Mills Road to Gardiner Expressway on Sunday, June 5 from 2 am to 2 pm due to the Bike for Brain Health event in support of Baycrest.

The Gardiner Expressway will also be closed to traffic from South Kingsway to Don Valley Parkway during the same time period for the same event.

Dundas Street West will be completely closed to vehicular traffic from Ossington to Lansdowne Avenue from 1pm on Friday 3 June until 1am on Monday 6 June to make way for the Do West Fest .

ActiveTO, meanwhile, will take place at The Meadoway from Brimley Road to Scarborough Golf Club Road from 7am on Saturday 4th June until 7pm on Sunday 5th June.

In addition, High Park roads will be closed to vehicles over the weekend. Limited street parking is available on Bloor Street West.
