Cristiano Ronaldo says he is happy to be at Manchester United and aims to win trophies with Erik Ten Hag next season.
The Portuguese’s future has been called into question after a terrible campaign for the club that saw them finish sixth in the Premier League and lose Champions League football.
Ronaldo, 37, was the star with 24 goals and insists he is “still very happy” at Old Trafford and wants success with the new boss.

“I knew he did a great job with Ajax and is an experienced coach, but we have to give him time and things have to change the way he wants,” he said in a video posted on the club’s Twitter account.
“I hope we succeed, of course, because if you succeed, the whole of Manchester will succeed too. So I wish you all the best.
“We are happy and excited, not only the players, but also the fans.
“I wish him the best and we believe that next year we will win trophies.
“For me, the most important thing is to try to win games and try to win a championship or a cup, but I think Manchester will be where they belong.
“Like I said before, sometimes it takes time, but I still think so.”
It wasn’t the return home from Old Trafford that Ronaldo would have dreamed of when he returned last summer, although his own performances dragged United into the top six.
But his relationship with the fans never faded.
He added: “I was happy, of course, to return to a club that really increased my career, so it was amazing, the feeling when I came back. It was nice to hear the fans, the happiness of them was great. .
