Now Waze connects to Apple Music

(Pocket-lint) – Waze has finally added support for Apple Music to its app, incorporating Apple’s music playback service into the fold, allowing users to play their songs while browsing.

It’s not the deepest system, it just lets you skip tracks, adjust the volume, and play or pause a tune, but it’s still a feature that Apple Music users may have been waiting for years.

After all, Waze added the same support to Spotify about five years ago, so that’s been a long time coming.

Given that smaller services like Deezer or iHeart Radio have also been integrated for a while, you may have been able to watch the slowness of Google on the Apple Music front with a bit of cynicism.

Google bought Waze in 2013 for $ 966 million to put its traffic warning systems under the umbrella that would later become Alphabet.

However, whether you think it was suspicious or not, Waze has been updated to make it a matter for historians to decide; you can now take advantage of the new integration.
