Average: Wales – Ukraine 1-0
Ukraine is the best team (only), but Wales have the important goal and, with the lack of fitness of the visitors, it could be a tough second half for Ukraine.
45 minutes: A corner kick created great disorder in the penalty area with a goal nearly scored by Roberts.
Two minutes added.
42 minutes: I think Wales will only want to reach the halfway point at this stage. His best game right now is Hennessey, which is how the games go.
Referee Lahoz criticizes James for running into Karavaev and tells the two players to stand up. Lahoz is a terrible referee.
40 minutes: Yarmolenko falls into the box dramatically after reaching the blind side of Allen and being caught in the heel. The VAR looks long after Zinchenko’s corner kick. No penalty!
38 minutes: Moore wins a couple of battles with Zabarnyi to give another boost to the crowd. Wales is giving it its all in every challenge.
36 minutes: As I said, Bale is the man of the big occasion.
Meanwhile, in Kyiv …
Currently watching Wales – Ukraine at a bar in Kyiv. A slightly dimmer experience than I’m used to, but then other things happen in this country. Also, there is not much goal-scoring action. pic.twitter.com/xN5LeYc2a7

GOAL! Wales – Ukraine 1-0 (Yarmolenko i, 34)
James wins another free kick. Bale shoots from 25 meters, throws it from the left and the captain of Ukraine Yarmolenko directs it to his own net.

32 minutes into the game, Yaremchuk had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide.
Mykolenko enters the book after putting an arm through James to stop the Welshman’s career. There are some claims of an elbow involved, but that would be a silly description.
30 minutes: Yarmolenko dampens the ball inside the area before lifting a cross into the six-yard area with the outside of the boot, only to see Ampadu head.
Zinchenko pings from 25 yards a few seconds later, but Hennessey gets behind. Ukraine is increasing things here.
28 minutes: Bale has not yet contributed much to the party. He hasn’t played much football lately and he proves it. He’s the man for the big occasion, though.
26 minutes: Bushchan limps for his own penalty area. Will he be able to continue?

24 minutes: Ramsey sends a nice cross from the right, but it’s just over James’ head and Moore can’t get there fast enough to head home. A way out for Ukraine.
22 min: Bale makes his first shot on goal; he gets a drop from Moore and then hits a ridiculously high, wide shot from about 35 yards. I guess he’s just putting his eye on it.
Panic at the Wales box office. A cross hits Karavaev, but his first attempt hurts and the second is half blocked before throwing himself into Hennessey’s arms.

20 minutes: Bushchan is about to receive treatment and receives a lot of spray on his ankle. He is up and looking happy to continue, which will please all in Wales.
18 min: Wales throw a deep cross into the area; Bushchan tries to get hold of the ball but it slips out of his hands. Luckily for the goalkeeper, the referee awarded a free kick. Wales will seek to put more centers in the area to judge for this.
16 minutes: Wales enjoy a good period of possession, but Ukraine keeps them in check.
14 minutes: Ukrainian fans make a hell of a noise inside the stadium. They will not be drowned by the local fans.
12 min: Yaremchuk overcomes the offside trap to overcome the Welsh defense; 1 – 1 was the halftime score. He tried to lift the ball over Hennessey but overcooked it and hit the bar instead.
“According to Martin Tyler on ITV, there is no goal line technology, as the Wales FA decided it was not worth the extra expense,” says David Wall. “How is this allowed, that something that affects how the rules are applied is left to the discretion of the federation of origin? it’s not like watering the field or letting it grow a little more, this could only affect how teams can carry out certain styles of play (and this could be considered fair to the local team). If the home federation can’t afford it, FIFA should pay, it’s not like they don’t have enough money. “
Hmmm … you’d think you wouldn’t want to take any more risk than what’s at stake. Strange decision of the Welsh FA.
10 minutes: Ukraine has a couple of corners in quick succession, but Hennessey and the defense are facing the situation.

8 minutes: Williams collects a pass from Bale, cuts inside and tries a shot from distance. The ball drifts away but it is a good sign of Wales’ intentions.
At the other end of the game, Tsygankov was caught offside and Hennessey was sent off.
Stuart Rarity says: “Whenever I’m watching a game and I don’t have a particular dog in the fight, so to speak, I decide who to support by supporting the side that has the correct numbers on the shirts; that is, from 1 to 11. Tonight, that means Ukraine, so sorry, Wales, you seem to be missing out again.
6 minutes: Davies pings from 30 yards that deflects backwards. James takes a corner from the left which Bushchan, who seemed suspicious of Scotland, hits clear.
4 minutes: Zinchenko takes a quick free-kick that catches Hennessey and ends up in the back of the net, but the referee calls her again. Malinovskyi takes a direct free kick, but the shot goes wide.

2 min: Ukraine has started well, enjoying most of the ball. His quality is unquestionable, but his endurance will be questioned later in the game because some of his teams do not have match practice.
Joe Allen enters the book after catching Stepanenko. James is also cautioned by Antonio Miguel Mateu Lahoz for a moan.

Here come the players …
“There’s been a lot of talk about all the neutrals rooted in Ukraine,” says Duncan Edwards. “I’m not Welsh, but not only do I want Wales to qualify, but I really wanted him to beat Scotland in this match to restart the disaffection of the 1978 qualifying campaign. I would also like Dan James to thrive. “.
There are only 15 minutes left to start. The stadium fills up in Cardiff, it’s raining. Things are about to get serious.

Do it for Bubbins!
“Sitting here in Victoria, BC, I’m really torn,” admits Bob Zoellner. “There are no ties to either, but I would love to see Ukraine at the World Cup, but I also want to see Bale and Ramsey there. We look forward to a clean and controversial match!”
David Brooks on his health: “I’m fine, the day is back to normal. It’s a pretty surreal feeling to be clear. with which you can change “.
And also great to see David Brooks talking on Sky. It could help inspire a Welsh victory.
Sky has the great Cliff Jones talking about Wales qualifying for the 1958 World Cup. A one-man class act.
The last great opportunity of Bale …
Matt Dony sent an email: “Best of all: Wales are finally qualifying for their second World Cup, which is a dream come true for many of us. But it is the most controversial World Cup in history. And everyone “If this happens, the actual World Cup campaign will be amazing, no matter what happens. Finally seeing these players on that stage will make my heart explode. But it will have a bittersweet element. “There are no two ways. But if I had to pick any team to lose potentially, it would be this one. We just expect a decent game, no controversy, no luck. Only the best team to win. I can’t argue.” with that, anyway. “
