Sadio Mane gives an update on his future in Liverpool
Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer has said the club can sign whoever they want in the summer amid their ties with Sadio Mané.
The Senegalese international has been linked with a move away from Liverpool following the defeat in the Champions League final against Real Madrid. It has been reported that he wants to leave the reds and it is understood that Bayern is interested in the 30-year-old.
Earlier this week, Mane suggested that he will follow the wishes of his country’s fans by leaving the reds. This would put an end to a brilliant six-year stint at Merseyside during which he scored 120 goals in 269 games.
Bayern are in pole position for the former Southampton star and Hainer spoke of his team’s potential, telling German channel BILD: “If we really want a player, we can get him, but he has to adapt.” .

Summer is ready for Bayern, who could also lose several players. Robert Lewandowski has been linked with Barcelona and could leave the club after a period full of trophies in Bavaria.

However, Lewandowski still has a year left on his current contract with Bayern and Hainer was surprised that Lewandowski has opened up on the fly amid Barcelona’s interest. He also added that the German team intends to keep it this summer.
Hainer said: “A contract is a contract! Where do we go if a player can terminate a contract prematurely, while we, as a club, have to pay it in full until the last day of the term? to be a little surprised that Robert chose to go public, he would not have done so in his place.
