Boston became the first team in the history of the NBA Finals to win by double digits after belonging to double digits in the fourth quarter. He took the lead with 5:02 of the end with an Al Horford 3 and did not fall behind. The Celtics also tied the St. 1960 Louis Hawks with the highest points spread (+24) in any quarter of Finals history. They exhausted nine 3s in just 12 attempts in the fourth on the way to their historic victory. Curry finished with a set 3, the maximum of the game, including six in a hot first quarter.
