On Monday’s episode of “The Steve Harvey Morning Show,” the host said, “I’m the Lori team, one thousand percent.”
“She’s my daughter,” he said. “I appreciate it. I support it.”
Jordan, 35, and Harvey, 25, have separated after a year and a half together, and his father joked that his life had not changed because of this, saying that he still had to work.
“As I tell everyone, things happen,” said old Harvey. “It’s hard to be young and in the spotlight and have a successful relationship.”
He also said he has no problem with Jordan, with whom he has spoken.
“As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t care what you do,” Harvey said.
Neither Jordan nor Lori Harvey, a model, had commented on their reported separation as of Tuesday. It looks like Lori Harvey took pictures of Jordan from her Instagram feed. In January, Steve Harvey said he was “uncomfortable” with a photo of his daughter sitting on Jordan’s lap, but appreciated the generous gift from the “Black Panther” star.
