There are 97 confirmed cases of monkeypox in Canada, most in Quebec

The Public Health Agency of Canada has issued an instant travel warning to Canadians to be especially vigilant if they attend large parties or mass gatherings.

The health agency has issued a level two travel health warning for several countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain and Germany.

Smallpox can cause symptoms such as fever, headache and muscle aches and skin lesions.

While it can be deadly, most of the time it is not.
