Police have placed a cordon around a part of a popular pub.
Several emergency vehicles are currently at the scene on Church Lane, next to Arrowe Park Road, Birkenhead, where a police tape has been placed on the other side of the road. Police officers can also be seen in the area.
Our reporter is at the scene, and people coming out of the building have said that the pub has been closed.
