All the great ads from Devolver Digital Showcase

Devolver Digital has undoubtedly accumulated a kind of legacy to channel all its marketing efforts through presentations of crazy and feverish dreams that definitely skip the line of disconnection. Although not included with the usual E3 programming, the publisher was never going to stay at this week’s Summer Game Fest.

In its presentation ‘Marketing Countdown to Marketing’ organized by Suda51 with a mechanical suit, Devolver Digital showed the following for the publisher who has brought us, only in the last two years, Fall Guys, Loop Hero, Death’s Door, Inscryption and Shark Card.

Here is a summary of what was announced in this morning’s presentation.

Cult of the Lamb has a super cute but weird release date trailer

The presentation of Devolver Digital opened with a rather adorable look at the world of Cult of the Lamb, a surprisingly beautiful game that has some dark hidden candies hiding beneath the surface.

He is super Eldritch and shows how the game balances the management of the community with the ritual sacrifice involved in appeasing the gods. The game will premiere on August 11th. Click here for our developer talk.

Anger Foot looks like an acid, first-person trip on the Miami direct line

From the creators of Broforce comes Anger Foot, a game about kicking ass and taking names. It seems to involve violating the rooms and sending the bad guys in various ridiculous ways, including, among others, explosive barrels.

A demo is now available on Steam, but the game will arrive in 2023.

Card Shark might be out, but that didn’t stop Devolver Digital from showing up

Here is the trailer, and here is our review.

The Plucky Squire is literally a picture book adventure that comes to life

In a short trailer, The Plucky Squire introduces us to Jot, a little picture book adventurer who quickly discovers that life off the page can be dangerous and full of dangers. It looks like a lovely little platform game.

The game will be released next year for Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 5 and PC.

In Skate Story, you are a glass demon who skates through the underworld

This is one I’ve been following personally for a long time, but Skate Story is an absolutely awesome skateboarding fantasy game that presents you as a glass-clad demon who risks everything to skate through a dangerous underworld.

It’s super beautiful and I’m really excited to see it receiving some love.
