Vladimir Putin has been advised not to make long public appearances because he is ill, he said.
The Russian president had to receive urgent medical attention after falling ill after an hour-and-a-half meeting, according to sources.
He was on a video call with military leaders according to the General SVR Telegram channel.
The publication said: “His doctors advised him not to make any lengthy public appearances in the near future.
“The last argument in favor of not speaking to the public was an incident after a recent one and a half hour video meeting with representatives of the military bloc …
“After the meeting, Putin felt a strong illness, weakness and dizziness as he tried to get up from the table.
“The president needed urgent medical attention.”
Recent claims have suggested that Putin may be very ill with blood cancer and now requires medical attention 24 hours a day.
And the independent Russian media Proekt found that the president’s health could have deteriorated over the past five years.

While the claims, which are based on internal intelligence, cannot be proven, some occasional video footage of Putin’s strange behavior seems to suggest that there is something not quite below the surface.
Recent images show him more fragile or with a swollen face, and he has been seen grabbing the side of the tables to keep his hand from shaking.
General SVR suggested that Putin’s latest medical advice could explain why he abruptly canceled his annual ‘Direct Line’ live broadcast.
The question-and-answer program has been running normally in June each year since 2004, and allows “normal” Russians to call and ask questions of the president.
But it was abruptly postponed without setting a future date.
General SVR wrote: “The postponement of the live [Direct Line] with the president indefinitely due to the unstable health of Vladimir Putin.
‘One week ago, the president was preparing to answer questions from Russian citizens in late June-early July.
“The president has been getting tired much faster lately.

“Perhaps if Putin ‘s health can be stabilized, the hotline will take place in August.
“The Russian president’s indisposition has become increasingly difficult to hide recently.”
Despite the information, he was also seen yesterday at an event commemorating the 350th anniversary of the birth of Peter the Great, a former Russian emperor.
He admitted to an audience that the Russians will have to wait a decade to live better after the invasion of Ukraine.
He was asked in front of young entrepreneurs, engineers and scientists: ‘So, will we live better in 10 years?’
He replied: ‘Yes, in the end this [reaching the goals I have set] it will lead to a better quality of life. ”

Body language expert Judi James analyzed the president’s behavior during the appearance and told The Mirror: open between buttons “.
“At one point, he seems to be aware of how his belly is in one direction and his tie in another, pulling his tie back over the front of his shirt, though he seems perfectly comfortable with this sign of disruption. .
“This style of conceit combined with humor and a relaxed posture seems to suggest a man who finds irony or sarcasm in the current global state of tension and threat.”
