A man has been rescued by neighbors after a house fire in Lancelin overnight.
Neighbors are believed to have rescued a man from the house by breaking a window before emergency services arrived.
The drama unfolded shortly before midnight when firefighters were set on fire on Hinchcliffe Road in Lancelin.
The fires in Lancelin, Gingin and Ledge Point attended and found the single-storey duplex completely engulfed in flames.
It took firefighters about 90 minutes to control the fire.
Police, St. John’s ambulance and Western Power also attended.
Two people were treated by St. John’s Ambulance teams and taken to hospital.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
