The charges stem from two separate incidents. Police say an employee was sprayed with bear spray on the night of Oct. 31 while trying to stop a man and woman from leaving a mobile home with unpaid merchandise.

As a result, the employee suffered minor injuries.

Meanwhile, police say the pair were also identified in a robbery that occurred at the same business in September.

Lucas faces charges of burglary, theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of a stolen license plate and failure to comply with probation and release order. Pearce is charged with theft, as well as being a passenger in a stolen vehicle, in addition to violations.

The couple have been detained pending their next court appearance on November 28.
