Today’s co-presenter, Ally Langdon, suddenly disappeared from the screens halfway through the program on Monday morning, leaving Karl Stefanovic as the presenter for the rest of the show alone.
Shortly before 7 a.m., Karl announced that his co-presenter had gone home due to a “frog in the throat.”
‘Welcome back to the show. Home down, home down, ”Stefanovic, 47, revealed after a commercial break.

“Now, unfortunately, Ally has had to go home. She has a very big frog in her throat. She will be back on deck tomorrow. In the meantime, it is an empty seat,” he said.
Brooke Boney joked that Karl “seemed more relaxed” presenting the breakfast program without her.
‘Look, she’s pushing me to the limit. I never know what will happen, “he said.

Langdon’s departure in the middle of the show comes just a month after David Koch disappeared from the Sunrise news bulletin board after only 25 minutes on the air due to a health problem.
The 66-year-old TV presenter walked away from the newsstand during an advertising break shortly before 6 a.m. because he was suffering from laryngitis.
He had been speaking in a crisp voice at the start of the show at 5:30 p.m.

Co – presenter Natalie Barr explained her absence to viewers at 5:56 a.m., saying, “You may notice something slightly different.
‘Kochie came in [and] he fought bravely for about 25 minutes. She had laryngitis yesterday and it looks like she still has it. I really couldn’t talk.
News reader Monique Wright said she had told Kochie to “take honey before each introduction,” but he refused because he thought it could “cause diabetes or something.”
