Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is facing a busy summer after his winning battle for Spurs support, and his week seems to have improved even as Harry Kane changes his mind.

Antonio Conte has won the battle to get Tottenham’s support in the transfer market and is already planning a lot of new signings.
Conte wants to sign a new team backbone for Champions League football next season. And a timely capital increase of £ 150 million from owner Enic means the Italian finally has the money to spend he craves.

England captain Kane was the story of last summer when the Spurs blocked their attempts to join Manchester City.

But with the signing of City Erling Haaland and the Spurs back in the Champions League, the Evening Standard claims that Kane has changed his mind.
The Tottenham striker turned down a new contract just a few months ago, but is now open to extend his stay at the club. And talks about his future could now be held in the preseason about ending his Spurs career.

Villa raid on the cards?
Conte wants to bolster his engine room with a combative midfielder in the window and has several goals.
And the Spanish website Fichajes claims that one of them is Aston Villa’s rising star, John McGinn, who has enjoyed a stellar season.
McGinn is said to be on a shortlist of midfield options that also includes former Paris St-Germain Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
The Spurs set a high price by asking £ 51 million for the best defender
It is clear that Conte’s top priority is to sign a center-back to play last three alongside Eric Dier and Cristrian Romero.
But according to Calciomercato, one of its main goals will not be cheap, with Inter Milan demanding money for the offer by Alessandro Bastoni.
The Italian defender is highly valued and Conte knows him well, but the Spurs have said it will cost them at least £ 51 million to take him this summer.
