WA Health reports a total of 6,315 new cases as of 8pm last night. There are currently 38,286 active cases in Western Australia.
As of 8pm last night, there were 278 people with COVID-19 in the hospital, 12 in the ICU.
Unfortunately, today’s report includes six new deaths dating back to May 19 that were reported yesterday at WA Health; a man in his 90s, three men in his 80s, a woman in her 70s and a woman in her 60s.
Due to confidentiality requirements, the Department will not provide further information on such cases.

Of the 6,315 cases, 1,881 were confirmed by PCR testing, the remaining 4,434 were self-reported positive antigen rapid tests.
A total of 9,332 PCR tests were performed yesterday at public or private pathology clinics.
WA has reported 826,139 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
