Sadio Mané “will feel the best” at Bayern Munich and Senegal coach Aliou Cisse has told him why he has to work hard to leave Liverpool this summer.
The 30-year-old red ace has announced that he is looking for a new challenge this summer. Mane has been all that Liverpool fans could have expected and more. In fact, if his tenure at Anfield ends at six, he has already established his place as the great modern Liverpool.
It seems that the reds have moved quickly to sign a suitable substitute in the front line.
A play for Darwin Núñez by Benfica is in its final stage. The Uruguayan underwent a medical today (Monday) and Benfica has already confirmed this in an official statement.
The arrival of Núñez will soften the blow of losing Mane. The Reds want £ 42.5m for their signing, although main rivals Bayern Munich have tested Liverpool’s patience with their initial offers.
