Britney Spears’ ex-husband Jason Alexander has been accused of harassing her after she appeared unannounced at her wedding last week.
After posting a live video on his Instagram site of the wedding, in which he claimed that Spears had invited him and said “I’m here to crash the wedding,” Alexander confronted security guards, arrested him and taken to a local prison. Spears’ marriage to Sam Asghari, her third husband, went ahead.
At a hearing Monday in Ventura County, California, Alexander pleaded not guilty to charges of harassment, intrusion, assault and vandalism. “There was an altercation with the security guards and there was the battery,” a police spokesman said. “And during the altercation, an element was broken, so that’s where vandalism comes into play. And being on private property, rape comes into play. “
A judge gave Alexander a restraining order stating that he must remain within 100 meters of Spears for at least three years. His bail was set at $ 100,000.
Alexander and Spears, who were childhood friends, were married in 2004, but the marriage was annulled after less than three days. She then married her second husband, Kevin Federline, from 2004 to 2006.

Spears met Asghari in a music video set in 2016 and they were engaged in September 2021. Their marriage comes amid greater freedom for Spears, following the dissolution in November 2021 of a controversial guardianship that controlled many aspects of his life.
The wedding was attended by stars such as Madonna, Donatella Versace and Paris Hilton, although several members of the Spears family did not attend.
