Apple’s new entry-level iPad to pack the A14 Bionic chipset, USB-C port

Apple updated its entry-level iPad last September. Now, a new online report suggests that the company plans to upgrade again. The entry-level iPad currently sells for $ 329 (Rs 25,679) and is the company’s most affordable iPad. According to a 9to5Mac report, Apple now plans to upgrade its entry-level iPad to a more affordable one. The report states that the tech giant is working to include a USB-C port instead of the Lightning port on its 10th-generation iPad. With this update, all iPad models will now have a USB-C port. The inclusion of USB-C will benefit users, as it supports faster transfer speeds and will also make it easier for users to connect the iPad to external displays. The report further suggests that the entry-level iPad will have a Retina display of the same resolution as the iPad Air. The 9th generation iPad currently has a 10.2-inch LCD screen. The screen size of the upcoming iPad is said to increase to 10.9 inches. The 10th generation iPad is also designed to work with Apple’s A14 Bionic chipset. This is the same chipset that powers the fourth-generation iPad Air. Compared to the current entry-level iPad running A13, the next iPad will run 30% faster thanks to the inclusion of the A14 Bionic chipset. Apple is also working to incorporate 5G network support into iPad mobile models.
