LEGO plans to invest more than $ 1 billion to build a US-made plant near Richmond, the capital of Virginia, according to Gov. Glenn Youngkin.

The Virginia plant, which will open in 2025, will be the seventh largest LEGO group factory in the world and the second in the Americas, joining a location in Mexico, according to a company press release.
