The main road through a village in central Devon has been closed after a serious motorbike accident. At 15.25 today (June 17), a motorist was involved in a collision on the A3124 in Winkleigh, Torridge.
Devon and Cornwall police are at the scene, with ambulances also called. The driver is believed to have been seriously injured in the collision and is being monitored by paramedics.
The Inrix traffic monitoring site reported at 3.15pm that the A3124 is partially blocked near the South Tawton diversion, and that the accident involved two vehicles.
